Hi, I’m Catherine
After more than ten years of freelancing across design, administration, communications and business support, I realised the thread running through all my work was surprisingly simple: I love helping people bring clarity to the chaos.
Whether it's a creative project, a practical problem or a long list of tasks that need a steady pair of hands, I'm happiest when I can make things feel a little more manageable.
I've always been drawn to the creative side of problem-solving. I enjoy taking something that feels unclear, overwhelming or stuck and finding a solution that feels thoughtful, practical and sometimes a little unexpected. Running my own business for many years has taught me how to juggle lots of moving parts, adapt quickly and get things done without needing much direction.
One of my favourite parts of the job is getting to know the people I work with. Many of my clients have been with me since the early days of my freelance career, which I take as the highest compliment. I'm naturally reliable, curious and always happy to help, and I enjoy becoming the person clients can trust to take something off their plate and get it moving.
I'm confident with all the usual digital tools and have taught myself everything from web design to accounting software and customer service systems over the years. Learning new platforms has become second nature, and I genuinely enjoy figuring things out.
Outside of work, I'm a collector of slightly eclectic hobbies. Lindy hop, aerial silks, digital drawing and pottery have all made an appearance over the years. You'll often find me researching something that's caught my eye or dreaming up new ideas. When I'm not doing that, I'm usually at home in my Cambridgeshire village with my dog (officially the Soppiest Dog in the World), a cosy blanket and the rain tapping at the windows.
If you're reading this and thinking we might be a good fit, I'd love to hear from you. Whether you need ongoing support or simply an extra pair of hands now and then, you're always welcome to get in touch and tell me what's on your list.
Need a hand?
If there's something that's been sitting on your to-do list for a little too long, I'd love to hear about it. Just send a note through the form or drop me an email. Tell me what’s on your plate, and I can let you know how I can help your day run a little smoother.
